Michaela Busswell

Dermal Clinician BSHcDT

Michaela started her career in 2015 at Vie Spa, Magenta Shores, where she quickly became a team leader then 2IC in control of training staff in retailing skin care and facial procedures. From there, she invested in herself, by committing to a Bachelor of Dermal Science (BHScDT) in 2018. Michaela progressed to running a small team at Advanced Skin Spa, Ettalong Beach, training and educating them along the way. Joining the Laserclear team in 2019 by multiple recommendations, Michaela quickly evolved into a highly sought out clinician. Her knowledge, passion and drive for excellence is remarkable. Michaela provides extensive education and thoroughly explains treatments and their expected outcomes to her clients. Michaela invests her knowledge into evidence based research, regarding ingredient education within skin care, skin management for conditions such as eczema, melasma, cystic acne, acne scarring, preventative aging and epidermal/dermal resurfacing procedures. Favourite modalities of Michaela’s all come from Cutera Australia. The Enlighten III system, Nd:YAG, Limelight, skin needling and resurfacing combination peels to name a few, but really anything skin and Michaela is happy! Michaela is loud, a little quirky, bright bubbly light within the clinic and you can almost guarantee she will talk about either Freddie her son, or her dog Bear, at least once in the course of a day. Michaela currently is available for bookings Monday, Tuesday, Thursday night and the first two Saturday’s in the month.
